Richard Lublin elected to the CT and Western MA Board of the American Heart Association
Richard Lublin was recently elected to the Connecticut and Western Massachusetts Board of the American Heart Association (AHA) to help raise awareness of heart disease and stroke prevention. As a member of the Board, Richard will help promote the mission and fundraising efforts in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
Richard brings more than 20 years experience as a philanthropist and advocate for various medical research and treatment initiatives. His gifts have supported the work of leading clinician-scientists. Richard's roles with medical advisory boards will help him serve in his newest role on the AHA board.
He and his wife, Jane, have established research funds at several cutting edge medical centers across the U.S., including Lahey Clinic, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Hartford Hospital and the UCONN Health Center, where the couple recently received the University of CT’s prestigious Medal of Honor, in recognition of their extraordinary philanthropic activities. The Lublins have also created educational scholarships for various institutions.
Richard and Jane Lublin reside in Naples, Florida and Avon, Connecticut. Jane is owner and president of Tree House Designs, an interior decorating company. Upon retiring from a successful 30-year legal practice, Richard Lublin became an accomplished TV and screen actor.
